A real crazy combination..
- 1/2 batch spent grain dough
- some bloody mary mix (or pureed tomatoes), maybe 1 cup
- toppings, like cheese, olives, scallions, olive oil, salt and pepper
Add the bloody mary mix to a pan and heat up until simmering. Cook for 10 minutes or more, cooking all the water out of the sauce.
Roll out the dough into pizza shape, brush with olive oil. Add the tomato sauce and then your toppings.
Cook in a 450 degree oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly cheese and a brown bottom crust.
I think this one was better than the Sun Gold Tomato Pizza…
Makes one personal sized pizza.
