Salmon Bowl

Do you ever make sushi and then have a seaweed sheet or two left?

This is quite the healthy veggie bowl with a piece of salmon on top.

Quite the salmon bowl..

  • 1 piece of salmon (3-4oz)
  • 1 scoop of rice, cooked
  • various veggies, chopped (carrots, lettuce, cucumber, mushroom)
  • sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • seaweed sheet, cut into small strips

Cook the salmon with a little salt and pepper and a shake of sesame seeds. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily.

Put one scoop of rice in a bowl and then layer the sides with various raw vegetables. Top with the salmon and the seaweed strips.

Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, and oil in a small bowl and season to taste. Pour it over the salmon in the bowl..

Then you can eat it up in various bites, in various combinations..
