The best way to use your leftover hamburger meat (or hamburgers).
I used crescent rolls as the crust, but you could make your own pie crust any way you want. What is important here is the pickles and pickle juice..
- 1 pound of ground meat, cooked up or leftover
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 2 dill pickles, big chop
- 2/3 cup pickle juice
- 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
Cook the crescent rolls as a pie crust in a 425 oven for 10 minutes. Cook up onions and garlic and then add cooked meat, pickles, pickle juice, and 1/2 of the cheese. Simmer for a few minutes, then add to the pie crust. Cook for 15 minutes in the oven, and then add the rest of the cheese.
Cook for 15 more minutes and eat. your. pie.
