That Yogurt Pesto I made and used as pizza sauce?
I had some leftover and decided to eat it for breakfast. With an egg.
This is less a recipe and more a plea to you to make this.
- 1 thing of pizza dough
- yogurt pesto
I like to make my pizza’s small, so this is about half of a regular serving of pizza dough. Roll up the edges to give you that crust.. I also like to use the underside of my cast iron pan. Put the pan in the oven and heat it up as you preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Once preheated, add the dough to the pan and spread on a few tablespoons of yogurt pesto. Sprinkle on a little bit of cheese and some toppings. Season. Bake for 7 minutes.
Then take the pan out of the oven. Create a little space for the egg in the center of the pizza, and crack in the egg. Bake for another 6-8 minutes, depending on how runny you want your egg. I like mine just set but not dripping down my arm.. so 8.
But be really careful, because that pan is hot.
Still, the best pizza sauce ever..
